Does anyone have any seat belts or are they the same as another truck?

A small guess is that they are the same as in the 912 truck.

However I have no parts number to compare with.

 

Perhaps if someone have some pictures of it could help?

Did the Sugga and 912 have seatbelts as original equipment?

If they weren't original the regiments might just as well have acquired the seatbelts localy later on.

Since both Sugga and 912 were produced in late 1950's there were probably no seat belts originally? Did Volvo PV 544 have seatbelts from start?

I guess they were a later modification due to safety. It should be the same type in both 912 and 915 and in 903. Same useless 2 point belts that were standard in 1960's. Gray belt with chrome buckles. I hated to use them during my time in the Army, better not to use them.

 

I guess you can use any kind used in old Volvo or Saab from 1960's. I am sure it should be the same. I think it was the same type in my dad's old Opel Kadett 1964 that I used during my time in High School.

 

So you can probably use any kind from that period, fixed bets, light gray with chrome buckles. No adjustable or "rullbälte" as we call it.

I do not think so, looks like 3 point belt whitout buckle end. You probably hook it into a bracket that is fixed to the floor.

The type I was thinking of is the same type as ordinary seat belts on an aircraft, but in cars they were not used as waist belt.

Yes, that is correct type for the back seat, a very strange type I have never seen in any other vehicle. 4 point belts like in a small sports aeroplane or a rally car.

 

In the front seat there is an ordinary 2 point belt same type as in 903 (Valp). So if someone has replaced the original belts in a 903 for more modern type you can probabably find the old ones for sale.

On hold as my parts supplier who I believe has the bits I need has stopped talking to me.

Yes Guilty as charged I have a shiny motor! (Alpina B5) but the one after that will be another Sugga! Only next time it will be more original that way I wont get as frustrated getting simple parts (Seats steering wheels etc)

As very little is easily available, I am afraid frustration is a major part of owning a sugga.

Alpina fast, handles, and better fuel consumption than a sugga. But the lure of Matt green I can't help it.
