Candle with a special glass ,casing and a rotary mirror. Of course in physics, we know that with the right burning - the flame is blue in color.

If the orange - it means a rich mixture. If a light-blue, the mixture is too lean.

Therefore, we connect the device - and you're done! We turn the adjustment screw of the carburetor and look in the mirror. To be sure, I put two units - 1 and 6 cylinders. Be sure to bring these carburetors in order. Then I do the synchronization. Photos later.

Total time adjusting the engine is warm - 2 minutes. Accuracy is very high - examined on the stand - super! The color of the candles on the electrode - the right classic.

Fuel consumption at 70 km / hour to 1.7 liters of 10 km.

On my simple  tool,  there its a nut in the hose and adjustment in gap length is made by turning the screw.

 

I had to check if i got same spark from all 4 coils on my boat engine or if spark change if canals on cdi was switch that was the reason i made that tool, i didn't know they exist.
